入籍と結婚式 Marriage Registration & Wedding Ceremony

入籍したのは今年の3月でした。

その前の年の4月に出会った彼と、とんとんと話が進み、

11月に婚約、その年の終わりに一緒に住み始め、年が明けた3月に入籍しました。

32歳でした。

その頃私は仕事が忙しく、入籍を終わらせても

なかなか式を挙げようという気持ちはありませんでした。

もともとそんなに結婚式というものに対しての憧れは無く、

親のために形だけでもやらないとな、まぁ暇になってから…

という感じで後回しにしていました。

なので、本格的に結婚式準備に乗り出すまでには少し（だいぶ？）時間が空きました。

I met my husband for the first time in last year April.

Then, he proposed me on Nov., started living together on Dec..

After welcoming new year and Spring, we submitted a marriage registration to city hall on March 2016.

We were wedded legally.

But, just a legally......

Nowadays, Japanese people tend to set a different date for legal registration and ceremony/party because a ceremony/party needs lots of preparation. 

I was working full-time at that time when I submitted the registration. 

I couldn't even thing that I could handle all of these preparations.

So, many couple like us take some steps until finishing the ceremony/party one by one, such as starting living together, finishing the paper works, deciding the wedding place, and actually starting the preparations so on.
